Sourcing yarn from China can cut cost and widen your blend options, but only if you specify clearly and vet the supplier. Here is a field-tested process.
Include: fiber composition, yarn count (system + number), twist, colour (Pantone or physical sample), end-use, and order quantity. Vague specs produce wrong yarn.
Look for: years in business, export markets, certifications (OEKO-TEX, ISO), and whether they actually spin or only trade. A mill like TIANSHENG that spins in-house controls count tolerance and consistency.
Order a 1 kg lab lot, knit or weave a swatch, and confirm hand-feel and colour. Paying for a sample beats paying for a wrong tonne.
Confirm MOQ (we start at 1 kg for development, bulk from low volumes) and realistic lead time (typically 15–25 days for standard, longer for custom).
